Well I just been informed former pot head comic turned actor
Cheech Marin has been cast on the hit television show
Lost. How do I feel about that? ...lost! But I feel
good for Cheech because he really likes being the
actor. My son just watched Nice Dreams and was telling
me of all the funny bits in the movie...and laughing
hard while he told me and that is the good news.
Cheech and I did all those movies "that will be around
forever" quoting the Us goverment's indictment against
me. So it doesn't really matter if Cheech and I do
another movie. When ever you feel the need for a
Cheech and Chong fix just watch Up In Smoke, Next
Movie, Nice Drreams, Things are Tough All Over, The
Corcisan Brothers and Still Smoking.....that's what I

I dont understand why someone would tell you on Thanksgiving your back had a target on it for a perverbial knife but I maintain the fact that you have the ability to create write and get something great out there in the entertainment field with or without him. If I remember correctly your the one whos face was on the Jesus picture in Born in East L.A. Maybe your a comedy God and thats the way he saw it in his subconscious. Is there no way to get something out of you that can make a shit load of money so you can prove to yourself your still a fantastic comedian?
I hope your boot straps are strong because I want to play in one of your movies and I need you to hit the ground running. I remember you telling me once in a letter you wrote me from prison about a guy who turned his back on you and you said he would just go down on the list of people whom used to be your friends. You moved on. So whats one more. Im still here I have always supported you and Im hoping to continue to support you. You think with all this support I can write it off on my taxes as a deduction. (Dependent)1000.00 ha ha. Lets role on something new. I'd say Stroker ACE but that one has already been done. Cant do ACE of Spades or Al Sharpeton will come after us and we'll wind up with Michael Richards. How bout ACE in the hole? Theres a good start for your future movie role. (A stealth car that cant be seen.)

Happy Thanks Giving.
we Greeks dont have Thanks Giving but I know it is important for all of you. Yesterday I watched Nice Dreams with my friends for the 3rd time this month and the result was the same as always. We laughed during the whole movie. We like Cheech and Chong very mutch and it is a really pitty that Cheech "lost" his way. All of us want a reunion but as Tommy said we want the old Cheech.

Just read today's blog, and you forgot one movie that was funny as hell also. For anybody who hasn't seen it, "Far Out Man" is a must see. It must have been a blast working with your wife and kids, and bringing them directly into your creative career. With C. Thomas Howell(your son-in-law,I understand),Judd Nelson,Renaldo Rey, among others, I just have to say it was a hell of a lot funnier than most movies coming out these days. At least back in those days, you could talk Cheech into doing a cameo. Please forgive us old fans for wanting a reunion of both of you, it was just the humor was so real. You guys rocked back in the day, and we just hope someday, he will give us back not only Pedro, but a lot of the old characters you both did like Ralph & Herbie. I guess we all have to realize it takes 2 to reunite.

Tommy Call your agent tell him to get you cast on lost. They can make you some dude who was already on the island before the plane crash. Maybe one who originally made the underground area. You've been watching all the commotion between the two tribes.
I really dont watch lost anymore its going nowhere. (No pun inteneded) Lately its getting like Gillghans Island Everyone shows up on there and yet none of them can get away. They even had a boat and still they cant get off. At least Skipper and them built a raft and got away after 15 years. Maybe you can invent the Bong radio. Hell if professor can make a radio out of a cocoa nut why cant you do one from a Bong. Come in! Come in! Higher power bwahahahahah!

Yes - that's what I do too. I have the whole collection of DVD's including "Far Out Man'. Strange there are no Cheech films in my collection. Sorry, but Tin Cup and Spy Kids just doesn't cut it. I cannot count how many times the guys and I have pounded back the brews, sparked up the green, and said, "Hey man, let's watch Up in Smoke or The Next Movie". I can't live without those films even if I was not a pot head. They are classics and take me back to a time when the world seemed to be a much more liberal place.

I forgot to mention that I remember a Redd Foxx tape I rented years ago that was worth mentioning too.
I'm not sure of the title, but it was something like "Dirty Jokes In A Brown Paper Bag". It was Redd hosting a comedy showcase that contained not only your "Far Out Man" co-star Renaldo Rey, but future stars as Jackie Martling, Andrew Dice Clay, and I'm not sure, but I think Roz Warfield from "Night Court" was on the ticket too. It's been 20 years or more since I've seen it, and I've puffed a lot of herb since then, so please forgive me if my memory goes wonky at times. I do remember that it was funny as hell though.

Bummer about Cheech (as usual) but not unexpected.
The albums and movies live on, as you say. You and Cheech made a contribution to the world's funny bone that most of us can only envy the shit out of. And god bless ya for it! I personally think that making somebody laugh is, at its most basic, just about the best thing one person can do for another. To be able to do it times millions... hell yeah!
And the cool thing is, you're still doing it with your own act! It's a shame that Cheech doesn't want to hop up there with you anymore, but at least he did years ago. Despite the attitudes of the neo-Victorian bucklehead assholes who railroaded you into the slammer, the world is a better place for what you and Cheech did. How could it not be, with that many smiles and laughs STILL being generated by the old material?
