** Re-mastered, Re-released...Sleeping Beauty and Let's Make A New Dope Deal **

This is what you've all been waiting for. Cheech and Chong Dot Com has signed an agreement with Warner Music Group to re-release two long lost Cheech and Chong albums, Sleeping Beauty and Let's Make A New Dope Deal.

Let's Make A New Dope Deal has been out-of-print since the mid-80s and has never been released on Compact Disc til now. Sleeping Beauty made a brief appearance on CD in the early 90s.

We've remastered both CDs and they're only available on this site. Order all nine of their CDs to save over 5%.

daily report from the Chong

It is now Tuesday morning Oct 10....almost three years
to the day when I went to prison. I went in Oct 11th
03....Boy how time flies...not when you are in prison
unfortunately! But its over and I have a book sellijng
like crazy! I just heard from my New York agent and
Simon Spotlight Pictures want another book from me!
How cool is that? I am a writer! I have been working
on a comic book called Shelby and Chong featuring my
wife Shelby and the Chong doing all sorts of crazy
stuff. Sort of like Crumb, and the Furry Freak
Brothers but more detailed drawing and crazy Chong
humor. We did a great section where I watch the show
Duets over and over as Cheech sings and gets dissed by
Marie Osmond..I assume this will be one of the books
that will be published by Simon and Shuster. I did a
book signing and talk at the Imix Book Store in Eagle
Rock ( LA) . The talk was at the American Legion Hall
which was quite ironic considering how much I dissed
the Republicans. It was like I was in their home
slamming them. The fans who showed up were some cool
people. I do attract some beautiful people. All ages
too! Some grandmother and grandfathers with their kids
and grandkids! It was a nice way to spend a Sunday
afternoon in Los Angles. Well I have to get to work
writing more books...This is crazy! Two more book
deals! I love it....peace...tc

  • The I Chong was primarily a biography and was completely awesome. It would be great if the next book was Cheech and Chong: The Untold Stories. You can discuss in detail crazy shit you've seen while doing stand-up, people you've met, crazy shit you and cheech did, crazy shit other people have done, the venues you performed at, what people were jerks, lawsuits and obscure stuff such as how the Basketball Jones cartoon got made. BTW, you should put Basketball Jones on DVD if you own it. thanks.

  • The book could also include a section that has info on each song on each album such as Cheech and I were at this location when we wrote this bit/song. We came up with the idea when something happened. You can do the same thing with each Cheech and Chong film. Such and such a thing happened while filming this scene. This scene was filmed at this location. Sort of like the commentary that's on the Up In Smoke DVD.

  • Just got the I Chong book and I cannot put it down. I am happy it is doing well because it's a slap in the face to the air headed goody two shoe idiots who put people like the Chongster and others away for so long, and for so little. I am from Canada so I can understand a lot of the stuff about living in the Great White North. I think the USA is a great Country, too bad about the politicians but I guess we have our fair share of asswads here too. Keep the books coming man! Peace to all.

  • Glad to hear the book is doing well, I got 8 more signed copies today sent from your signing in Vancouver got a few more from friends coming to me yet. My employees were extremely happy when I gave them their copies and my friends will also be happy I am sure. (Not sure if you remember the guy building the cars from Up In Smoke they mentioned to you in Vancouver, but that is me.) I'm a bit more than half way into the book and am glad to see things that I had never known about how you grew up and your parents. Anyway, take care and have fun.

  • I know this is an older entry for you (being November now) but I bought your book and have been encouraging others to do so. I finished it too quickly and the first thing I said was, "Damn, I need him to write more books." You have a lot of great stories to tell and you tell them so well. I also love it when you are on Stern. I hope you do another appearance there soon.
